Date: 11/13/2023
Time: 6:00 pm-7:00 pm

Between 1918 and 1931, sixty Osage Indians were reported murdered in Osage County, Oklahoma. The victims, all wealthy Osage Natives, owned or had headrights to land producing valuable oil discovered on the Osage Reservation in 1897. David Grann’s 2017 book Killers of the Flower Moon details these murders, the investigation by the newly formed FBI, and the man behind the plot. Join us for a book discussion on Monday, November 13 at 6 pm as we examine the book and share our thoughts. We have additional library copies for check-out so please register below and call the circulation desk (542-5075) to reserve your copy. A film rendition of the book is set for release on October 20.
