Interlibrary loan is available to Norfolk Library patrons. Most libraries do not allow interlibrary loan on material that is new to their collection. To search for an item at another library and place a hold, click here. You can also call the Circulation desk for assistance at 860-542-5075.

A Norfolk Library card can be used at any member library of the Connecticut Library Consortium. Similarly, any library card from a member library may also be used at the Norfolk Library. To obtain a Norfolk Library card, you must be a resident of Norfolk. You can fill out an application at the library or online here.

You can access the online library catalog at home and search, renew, or hold books. You can also call the Circulation desk for assistance at 860-542-5075.

The Norfolk Library Associates hold an annual book sale the last weekend of August. Branded merchandise, such as T-shirts and hats are for sale year round at the library. The proceeds fund the Library’s many cultural programs, open to all, free of charge. Click here for more info on products we offer.

The library staff can help you with research, family research, and technology. Click here for more information about these services.

The library does not have private rooms for the public to work in. You can use the tables in the Great Hall or in the Reference Room (see photos to right). These tables have power outlets and good Wifi.
