Summer Special Event: Umbrella Art Project with Erika Crofut
The Norfolk Library is delighted to announce our Summer Reading Program theme this year is COLOR OUR WORLD. We invite children and families to meander down a path of art and creativity, embracing various ways we can “color our world” through art, nature, science, and movement. Special thematic events have been scheduled for Monday evenings to which all are welcome.
Come to the Library for an Umbrella Art Project with artist Erika Crofut. Children will review patterns & colors and create their own unique umbrella. This program is limited to 12, please register below.
The Summer Reading program runs for 7 weeks from June 16 to July 28 with special events on Monday evenings, generously sponsored by the Library Associates. Specially designed by artist Erika Crofut, whimsical reading logs will be given to children with fun challenges to help them maintain and enhance their literacy skills and to foster a love of reading. The special events are free and open to all Norfolk-area families.
Registration is always appreciated.
