Summer Golden Jubilee Cocktail Party & Auction

Mark your calendars now for a festive cocktail party and auction under the tent at the Norfolk Library.  Tasty hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer, and a signature cocktail will be served.  Then gather your friends and get ready to have some fun as our entertaining auctioneer takes the stage for a live auction of five spectacular getaways! Getaways are good for one year from date of auction unless other restrictions are noted. Dates to be agreed upon by donors and winning bidder.

Tickets to the Golden Jubilee are $35 at the door. Your generosity supports the Library’s many free special events, films, concerts, book discussions, children’s programs, and more.

“When Irish Eyes Are Smiling”

Charming townhouse in a hip and happening neighborhood, centrally located in Dublin. Three bedrooms (one queen, two doubles) and two full baths. Conveniently located on bus and tram routes. Down a mile-long private road, the cottage is just steps from a panoramic beach, where you can walk miles at low tide. A fabulous oceanside golf course and lovely spa are 10 minutes away. Note: Not available the first three weeks of June, 2025.

“An Adventure in Provence”

This historic house in lavender country will take you back in time. The Domaine de la Chapelle dates from the 17th century with evidence (including Roman stones) of a much deeper history.  The Chapelle, a French national monument, is located right out the side door. Renovated 15 years ago, and with a brand new roof, this rustic house has five bedrooms, three upstairs with queen-sized beds – each has its own bath. Two bedrooms downstairs share a bath between them. Close to the Gorge du Verdon, Lac de St. Croix, and the beautiful hiking trails around Moustier Ste. Marie. If you are up for an adventure, this is for you!

A brand-new house near George Town in Great Exuma features two master ensuites and a deck with a plunge pool. A stunning beach is a three-minute walk away.
