“Where water flows and creatures return, balance is remembered.”
Join Heather Henson in connecting to your local land and waterways. Participants will employ kinetic learning to explore planetary movements and seasonal rhythms. Together, viewers will journey through the interconnected waterways and shifting landscapes of the planet guided by the cultural keystone animals; Whales, Cranes, Sturgeon, and Bison.

Using puppets, masks, and dance props, puppeteers will bring these beings to life through a game of embodied animal role-playing, immersing ourselves in their journeys and behaviors. Through rhythmic dance games, song circles, crafting, and interactive storytelling, they’ll explore the seasonal cycles, planetary movements, and water’s flow from rivers to the ocean – helping us understand the profound connection between the water systems in our own backyards and the ocean beyond.

This program is for all ages. Please register below.

This event is held in Battell Chapel at 12 Litchfield Road, across the Village Green from the Norfolk Library.
