Corner Club: Celebrate Gandhi’s Birthday

The Norfolk Library is celebrating International Day of Non-Violence and Gandhi’s birthday on Wednesday, October 2, from 3:45-4:45 p.m. Gandhi is internationally esteemed for his doctrine of encouraging a nonviolent way of life. To acknowledge this day, we have invited a henna artist to demonstrate this ancient practice of wishing joy and luck. The children will also be offered Indian treats and a peace symbol craft to decorate.

This program is limited to 15 children and best for ages 6 and up. Children will need a note to get off the school bus at the Library.
