Art Exhibition: Wayne Jenkins, Recent Paintings

A self-taught oil painter of landscape and wildlife, Wayne Jenkins returns to the Norfolk Library with an exhibition of paintings that reflect his love of the natural world. Beginning with hunting and fishing as a young man and later raising cattle, he became fascinated by the forms and colors found in the natural world. His career working outside at Great Mountain Forest gave him ample opportunity to continue observing nature in the wild. A member of Norfolk Artists and Friends, Wayne first began exhibiting his work at the Norfolk Library in the mid 1970s.
