The Norfolk Economic Development Commission Conversation Series: Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation
The Norfolk Economic Development Commission is launching a conversation series intended to benefit the businesses and nonprofits in town. The series opens with Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation President and Norfolk Neighbor Kara Mikulich, who will present an overview of what the foundation does, how it works, and how you can apply for funding.
If you run or are involved with a nonprofit working toward bettering lives in our community, you’ll want to know about the support BTCF provides, strengthening communities through philanthropy and leadership since 1987. They channel generosity where it’s needed most and bring resources and passion together to tackle our region’s pressing issues to create lasting change. Today, BTCF manages more than 650 funds and awards over $18 million dollars annually in grants and scholarships that support nonprofit organizations in Berkshire County, northwest Litchfield County, Columbia County and northeast Dutchess County.
Kara Mikulich will be joined by BTCF’s Vice President of Programs, Maeve O’Dea, and Aileen Meehan, Community Engagement Officer. Bring your curiosity and questions. They’d like to hear about what you do and what you need.
Refreshments will be served. Please register for this program below.
