Mistress Dispeller is the third in our series of new documentaries, now in limited release, that have a good chance of being shortlisted for the Oscar. Filmmaker Sloane Klevin has curated this short series representing the latest in creative documentary filmmaking.

Desperate to save her marriage, a woman in China hires a professional to go undercover and break up her husband’s affair. With strikingly intimate access, Mistress Dispeller follows this unfolding family drama from all corners of a love triangle. Directed by Elizabeth Lo.
