Great Course: Comparative Religion with Professor David Kimball

A 12-week online discussion series lead by Kelly Kandra Hughes, Ph.D.
Using The Great Course: Comparative Religion with Professor David Kimball as our guide, we’ll learn and discuss how five major religions – Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism – address the same core religious issues in parallel and different ways.  This lecture series is available through hoopla free of charge to Norfolk Library patrons with a valid Norfolk Library card. Participants will listen to two 30-minute lectures in preparation for weekly discussions, which will take place via Zoom. Please register in advance. For more information, contact Kelly Kandra Hughes at kkandrahughes@biblio.org or call the circulation desk at 860-542-5075.
